Amazon Sourcing Copilot
Effective date: June 1, 2026
Amazon Sourcing Copilot helps ecommerce sellers evaluate supplier pages from Alibaba or 1688 against an Amazon US ASIN. This policy explains what information the extension handles and how it is used.
Single Purpose
The extension's single purpose is to help users estimate sourcing margin, supplier-to-ASIN fit, risk notes, saved sourcing opportunities, and exportable sourcing records for supported supplier and Amazon product pages.
Data the Extension Handles
When the user actively runs an evaluation, the extension may read website content from supported Alibaba, 1688, and Amazon pages. This may include product titles, supplier page text, price information, minimum order quantity information, Amazon ASINs, Amazon product titles, and the current page URL.
The extension may also use the active tab URL to confirm that the user is on a supported Alibaba, 1688, or Amazon page. The extension does not monitor browsing history in the background.
For Chrome Web Store disclosure purposes, these uses correspond to the Website content category and the Web history category. The extension does not collect personally identifiable information, health information, financial and payment information, authentication information, personal communications, location data, or user activity data.
How Data Is Used
Data is used only to provide the extension's core workflow: estimating landed cost, margin, product fit, risk notes, supplier outreach prompts, saved opportunities, and CSV export.
Local Storage
The extension may store the following data locally in the user's browser using Chrome storage:
- Cost template settings, such as shipping cost, duty rate, packaging, inspection, ad reserve, and FBA fee.
- Saved sourcing opportunities, including supplier title, supplier URL, ASIN, verdict, margin snapshot, risk snapshot, and status.
- License key and Pro activation status.
Data Sharing
We do not sell user data. We do not transfer user data to third parties except as required to provide the extension's core functionality, comply with law, or process payments through the user's chosen payment provider.
Advertising, Lending, and Unrelated Uses
We do not use user data for advertising, retargeting, creditworthiness, lending, or purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
Remote Code
The extension does not execute remotely hosted code. All extension scripts are packaged with the extension. Network requests, when used, retrieve page content as data for analysis and do not execute that content as code.
User Control
Users can delete saved opportunities and extension data by clearing the extension's local storage or removing the extension from Chrome.
